Referencing a laboratory science experiment, this participatory work surrenders control of the frequency and duration of the vibration to the viewer by providing access to the rheostat. Participants also chose how to demonstrate or reveal the range of frequencies by selecting random personal objects and then placing these on top of the 48 inch square table surface. Frequency and duration become investigative variables as the vibration affects the shifting objects.
