By embossing this quasi-random sequence of infinite numbers, the artist surrenders control and behaves like a machine (a scribe). His control is the design, size and presentation of the numbers on the paper field, and the number of pages based on the selected number of digits. Human error (seizures) and imperfection become random variables. All seizures are accurately recorded on the master sheets of computer printed hard copy. This body of work contains 21,170 embossed digits - approximately 4234 numbers per page- for a total of 5 pages
