25,920 horizontal lines represent the average number of breaths we take in 24 hours. Each line is 36 inches long – the length of time it takes to draw one line equals one complete breath cycle. Drafting Silence was completed in 1996 and was shown at the MacKenzie Art Gallery in 1997. It is in the collection of the Saskatchewan Arts Board.
